HC order on tracing Salahuddin Apr 15

The High Court today set April 15 for delivering verdict on a petition seeking an order on the government to locate “missing” BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed.

Justice Quamrul Islam Siddique and Justice Gobinda Chandra Tagore fixed the date after concluding hearing on a petition moved by the missing BNP leader’s wife Hasina Ahmed.

Hasina has already pleaded to the prime minister multiple times seeking her intervention in locating Salahuddin who has been missing for more than a month now.

She has moved the HC seeking its order on the government to trace Salahuddin.

According to Hasina, plainclothes picked up her husband from a house in Dhaka’s Uttara area on March 10 and there has been no news on the BNP leader since.
