BNP unaware of Salauddin’s status

BNP is unaware of any update of its leader Salahuddin Ahmed who was found in Indian city of Shillong two months after he had gone missing in Dhaka.

The party’s International Affairs Secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon disclosed the party’s stance on Salahuddin’s whereabouts this afternoon, five days into his appearance.

“We have no any latest information about him [Salahuddin]. We are depending on the information of foreign media,” Ripon said while briefing media at the party’s headquarters in Nayapaltan.
