bKash agent shot in Dhaka, Tk 2 lakh robbed

Unidentified miscreants today shot a bKash agent and snatched away Tk 2 lakh from him in Hazaribagh area of Dhaka this morning.

The victim, Shohag Hossain Anik, 22, was collecting money from bKash retail agents in the area’s Krishi market when three motorcycles with seven people attacked him at 10:30am.

The victim was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where he is undergoing treatment.

“After surrounding me, they grabbed my bag and shot my right leg,” Shohag told reporters at the hospital.

There was Tk 2 lakh in the bag, Shohag claimed.
