7-murder: Nur Hossain’s bail rejected

A court in Narayanganj today denied bail for 11 accused including the prime accused Nur Hossain in the sensational seven-murder case.

Judge of Narayanganj District and Sessions Judge’s Court Sayed Enayet Hossain passed the order after hearing the bail petitions.

The court also fixed February 8 for hearing on the charge sheet of the case.

On April 27, Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam, his four associates, and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker and his driver were abducted and killed allegedly by allegedly some Rab-11 personnel. Their bodies were later found floating in the Shitalakkhya river.
