A four-year-old girl was reportedly raped by a neighbour in the Sabujbagh area of Dhaka yesterday. 

She was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) this morning for a checkup, said Quddus Fakir, officer-in-charge of Sabujbagh Police Station.  

Salam, a neighbour, violated the girl when she was home alone, the victim's father told reporters at DMCH.

The parents came to know about the incident when the girl shared it with her mother, he said.
