15 held over question leak

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) today detained 15 people for their alleged involvement with leaking question papers of a recruitment test.

Lt Col Masud Rana, commanding officer of Rab-2, said they picked up the suspects after raiding different places in Dhaka during the recruitment test for the ‘auditor’ post at the Bangladesh Comptroller and Auditor General.

He said the elite force members have found evidence that the detainees were supplying answers to the candidates during the test that began at 10:00am today.

The Rab official added that the drive was continuing to detain other suspects involved in the crime.

The Rab-2 will hold a press briefing at 11:00pm at its Sher-e-Bangla Nagar headquarters on the issue.
