10 children rescued at Banashree, 3 held

Police rescued 10 children from a flat at Banashree in Dhaka this afternoon and detained three persons for their alleged involvement in child trafficking.

The children are between six and 10 years old, Asaduzzaman, inspector (investigation) of Rampura Police Station, told The Daily Star.

According to police, the children were rescued from the sixth floor of a seven-storey building at Block –C on road No. 10, around 1:00pm.
