Uttara Club inaugurates annual snooker and billiards championship

Uttara Club Limited inaugurated its "Annual Snooker and Billiard Championship 2025" yesterday at the club's billiard room.

Club President Faisal Taher formally opened the championship at the ceremony, attended by Hasan Sadi, member-in-charge (sports), and Sultan Moyeen Ahmed Robin, convener of the Snooker and Billiard Sub-Committee. Several directors, players, and members were also present.

A total of 27 participants are competing in this year's championship, which will run from October 19 to 27. The event aims to encourage sportsmanship and friendly competition among club members.

During his speech, Faisal thanked the organisers and participants for their contribution to promoting sporting activities at the club.
