Prof Khawza Iftekhar new pro-VC of Green University

Prof Khawza Iftekhar Uddin

Prof Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed joined Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) as the new pro-vice chancellor today, said a press release.

Prior to this position, he served in different academic, administrative positions at different universities in Bangladesh like chairperson and professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, United International University; and director of Center for International Affairs and Cooperation.

Dr Khawza Iftekhar started his professional career as a lecturer in Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. He also served in American International University, Bangladesh as assistant professor.

Dr Khawza Iftekhar completed his BSc and MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet). He obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering fromArizona State University in 2005.
