Abul Khair Group honours top students at Marks Active School Genius finale
The grand finale of the Marks Active School Genius competition was held in Dhaka on February 5, with nearly BDT 1.5 million awarded in scholarships and honours to top-performing school students across the country.
The competition was organised by Marks Active School, an initiative of Abul Khair Group, in collaboration with 10 Minute School. It began online in September 2025 and attracted participation from more than 100,000 students nationwide.
After several competitive rounds, 150 students qualified for the grand finale across three categories: Junior (Grades 5–6), Intermediate (Grades 7–8), and Senior (Grades 9–10). The final round assessed students’ knowledge and skills in Bangla, English, ICT, AI, Fine Arts and IQ.
Champions in each category received the Champions Trophy and a scholarship of BDT 150,000. First runners-up were awarded BDT 100,000, while second runners-up received BDT 50,000. Students placing fourth to tenth in each category received medals and scholarships of BDT 25,000 each.
In the Junior category, Sadat Sharafat Hossain Chowdhury of BAF Shaheen College, Dhaka, secured first place. Bayezid Islam of Kushtia Police Lines School and College finished second, while Md. Nabeeh Hossain of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School came third.
In the Intermediate category, Titas Chowdhury of Milestone College took first place. Mahir Daiyan of Dhaka Residential Model College finished second, and Jawwad Chowdhury of Rangpur Zilla School secured third place.
In the Senior category, Ammar Ibnu Shamim of University Laboratory School and College placed first. Md. Ridwanul Islam Riad of Tangail Police Lines Adarsha High School finished second, while Asif Mahmud of Government Science High School placed third.
The grand finale was hosted by Ayman Sadiq, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of 10 Minute School. Awards were presented by Bangladesh national football team captain Jamal Bhuiyan and Ayman Sadiq.
The event also marked the launch of Marks Active School Fortified Instant Milk, enriched with additional vitamins and minerals to support the nutritional needs of school-going students.
Organisers said the initiative aimed to encourage talented students across the country, boost their confidence and expand their knowledge, adding that similar programmes would continue in the future.
