Abul Kasem Khan made chairperson of BUILD

Abul Kasem Khan has recently been appointed as the chairperson of the Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD) for a one-year term (2025) at the 36th trustee board meeting of the platform.
Khan is a trustee board member of BUILD, nominated from the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), according to a press release.
He is the vice-chairman of AK Khan & Company Limited and managing director of AK Khan Telecom Limited.
The meeting also welcomed Taskeen Ahmed, president of the DCCI; Kamran T Rahman, newly re-elected president of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Muhammad Anwar Pasha, administrator of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI); and Acting Secretary General AKM Asaduzzaman Patwary, as new members of the BUILD trustee board.
BUILD is a public-private dialogue platform supported by DCCI, MCCI, and CCCI, officially providing secretarial support to the Private Sector Development Policy Coordination Committee since 2011 and working on seven thematic public-private dialogue areas, with specific emphasis on trade and investment.
