Stocks recovered in today's first hour of trading following the previous day's decline. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 13.16 points or 0.25 percent to 5,190.40 as of 11:10 am. 

Around 191 issues advanced, 76 declined, and 89 remained unchanged, signifying positive investor momentum. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 99.53 crore. 

Shares of Alltex Industries and Malek Spinning Mills each surged the highest 9 percent, while shares of GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh)  dropped 6 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was down 0.34 percent, losing 49.53 points to 14,518.44.
