City Bank to celebrate first ‘Amex Member Week’ in Bangladesh on November 1-7

City Bank PLC will celebrate "Amex Member Week" for the first time in Bangladesh from November 1 to 7, marking a milestone in its longstanding partnership with American Express, a global digital payment solutions provider.

During the week, American Express cardmembers will enjoy a range of benefits, offers, and special promotions, according to a press release.

The initiative aims to reward cardmembers and enhance their everyday spending experiences.

Cardmembers will receive additional perks across popular categories, including shopping, dining and entertainment.

All City Bank American Express credit cardholders will enjoy 20 percent cashback on payments at selected merchants nationwide, covering shopping, electronics, dining, jewelry, beauty salons, and furniture, with applicable terms and conditions.

The offer will be available in all major cities, reflecting the bank's motto: "Wherever there's Amex, there's more."

City Bank is also offering extra rewards for mobile financial services (MFS) users. Cardmembers who load money into their MFS wallets using Amex cards will receive bonus membership reward points and special cashback benefits, promoting secure and convenient digital payments.

Additionally, the bank will launch a "Merchant Incentive Programme" during Amex Member Week, recognising top-performing merchants in categories such as motorbikes, electronics, and mobile phones.
