Iresh Zaker on his new chapter as TPPAB President

Popular actor Iresh Zaker has impressed viewers with his acting prowess, ever since he started his career. He also served the Television Programme Producers Association of Bangladesh (TPPAB) as general secretary for the last two years. Recently, the beloved actor was elected as the president of the association at the biannual election of TPPAB, held at the Emmanuel's Banquet Hall in Gulshan, Dhaka.

The last two years provided Iresh Zaker with a lot of learning, based on which he plans on taking the association further. “Now that I have taken a more responsible role, I am looking forward to analysing the nature of the problems that I came across,” says Iresh Zaker. “I hope to find solutions accordingly.”

He also believes that everyone's co-operation is essential while moving forward. “The goal is to involve as many people as possible,” adds Iresh. “It is not a full time organisation. Members are affiliated with other establishments simultaneously, which is why everyone needs to work harder in order to make it possible.”

A producer not receiving enough revenue is one of the issues that need to be addressed, according to him. Besides, he aspires to making the television channels more sincere about their due payment to the producers. “I embark on a new chapter in my life, for which I request everyone's well-wishes and blessings,” expresses Iresh.
