Stars hopeful about Bangladesh’s match today

Like the rest of the world, Bangladesh’s famous faces, too, will be glued to the television as they cheer for our country in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 clash against West Indies today. We spoke to some of the most popular actors of the entertainment industry who are gripped by the cricket fever.

Afsana Mimi has high hopes for the match today. “The tigers have played remarkably well in the World Cup so far, and I feel that under the dynamic leadership of our captain Mashrafe, good things are coming our way today,” she says.

Aupee Karim was delighted to see Bangladesh win their first match of the World Cup. “I hope that our cricketers put up a good fight today and play well. I support them, regardless of whether they win or lose,” says the actor.

On the other hand, Chanchal Chowdhury believes that the Bangladesh team has come a long way in cricket. “Our team managed to earn much respect with their tenacious work, and we as a nation share that happiness,” he says. “Our ambitious achievements in the sport led to a recognition that was unheard of in the past. So, I am rather enthusiastic about today’s match and am really looking forward to the rest. I believe the Bangladesh team will bring us glory!”

Siam Ahmed mentions that the team must win today’s match for going into the next round. “In the past, Bangladesh has defeated many popular teams in the World Cup, so, I have high hopes for today. I just hope it does not rain,” says the actor.

Similarly, Sabila Nur is vying for Bangladesh’s victory today.  “I hope the players’ strength and patriotism will fuel their determination. I admire the sport and make sure to watch it whenever possible, with friends and dear ones,” she says.
