I usually prepare some dessert items on Eid day: Nadia

Popular TV face Nadia Ahmed had a busy shooting schedule ahead of Eid. She recently talked about her Eid celebrations, cooking and more in an interview with The Daily Star. Excerpts:

Have you had a tight schedule this Eid season?
Nadia: I was booked for shooting for Eid plays till September 22. I am appearing in two plays directed by Tauquir Ahmed and another one under the direction of Badrul Anam Soud. Besides, Aniruddho Russel's “Nil Megh Kuasha Ar Bhalobasa” aired on Eid. Two plays were shot abroad. 

What do you usually do on Eid day?
Nadia: As there is no shooting, I catch up on some sleep. I also hang out with friends and family during the Eid holidays.

Do you cook on Eid day?
Nadia: A little bit. Basically it's my mother's department. I usually prepare some dessert items on the occasion. Although I'm an occasional cook, I love collecting cooking recipes. 

What's your ideal Eid makeover?
Nadia: It depends on the situation. For example, if there is any party on the day, I take bright makeup. On the other hand, if I stay at home, I wear a simple look. 

Do you watch Eid TV plays?
Nadia: I like to sit back during the time and hang out with friends and relatives. But I watch the dramas on Youtube later.
