Crafts fair at Bengal Gallery

A five-day (April 10-14) crafts fair is on at the premises of Bengal Gallery in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

Eleven stalls showcase crafts from Nakshikantha to metal craft. The fair also has other stalls including shola, pottery, mats, brass utensils, hand-made fans, conch flutes, showpieces and many more.

National Crafts Council of Bangladesh and Bengal Foundation have jointly organised the fair with an award ceremony to promote crafts that appear to be disappearing in Bangladesh.
