I like wasting time on Facebook on the weekend

Once Dhallywood heartthrob, Purnima grabbed popular attention with her hit films. But she's ventured into TV plays of late and emerged as a grand success on that front too. So just what does Purnima do when she's not working? The Daily Star spoke to the actress to discover: 

“A day off means no work stress and freedom from a punishing schedule. I like to relax with my friends and family on holidays and weekends 

“I enjoy listening to music and watching movies. Shakila Zafar and Samina Chowdhury are my favourite singers. Sometimes I enjoy my own films if they are on air. Besides this, I like to catch up with my Facebook friends.

“On weekends, I often go to a place near Bashundhara R/A. There is a large field where I take my baby for a stroll. 

“I've visited a number of places with my family at home and abroad on weekends. 

I love going to the sea side. On weekends I feast on my special cuisine. However, I will let you in on a little secret: You will always find chips in my home.”
