The exhibition consisting of 34 artistic works of Novera will continue until October 19. The works belong to the five-year period she worked after her return from London to Dhaka from the mid 1950s to 1960. Some reproductions of her later works including her painting have also been added to the exhibition.
The museum has organised the special exhibition from its collection of the Department of Contemporary Art and World Civilization.
Novera also worked alongside Hamidur Rahman on the original design of the Central Shaheed Minar. She died on May 6 in France. She had been living there for the past 45 years.
