Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the first month of Bangla Calendar now is at doorstep. People from all walks of life are ready to celebrate the first day of the new year with much festivity.
Every year, Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University organises three day celebration programme for this which are Chaitra Sangkranti, Mongol Shobhajatra and Jatrapala.
To celebrate 1422, students of the faculty are now busy with their fine arts as only one day to go.
