ACC asks for Moosa’s wealth info
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today asked business tycoon Moosa Bin Shamsher to submit his wealth statement in seven working days.
A staff at his Banani office received the notice served by the graft watchdog on his behalf, an ACC official confirmed.
The ACC approved the notice at its regular meeting on May 5.
During an interrogation in December last year, Moosa admitted to ACC officials that he had deposits worth $7 billion in Swiss Bank accounts that were “frozen”.
