Meta launches ‘Vibes’ for creating AI videos

Meta has recently unveiled an update to the Meta AI app called 'Vibes', offering users the ability to create and share short-form AI-generated videos. 

According to a recent blog post by Meta, the feature is designed to encourage experimentation with artificial intelligence (AI) tools by allowing users to start from scratch, remix existing clips, or rework content already in the feed.

Videos can be customised with visuals, music and style adjustments before being shared on the Vibes feed or cross-posted to Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels.

According to Meta, the feed will become more personalised as users engage with content, showcasing a growing range of AI-generated videos from creators and communities. The company said it is working with visual artists and creators to expand the feature and plans to introduce additional tools in the coming months.
