Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami has been appointed the next High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom.

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami today (August 20, 2022) hoped that the traditional spirit of happiness, friendship, peace and harmony will only grow in a Bangladesh that remains true to the remarkable founding vision and values of its Liberation War.

Pranay Kumar Verma, currently the Indian envoy to Vietnam, will be the country’s next High commissioner to Dhaka, WION reported today.

Vikram Kumar Doraiswami, Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh, said the Padma Bridge will contribute to greater connectivity between Bangladesh and India and in the sub-region supporting the BBIN initiative.
