Narayanganj police seek two months time from the High Court for submitting report over the incident of public humiliation of school teacher Shyamal Kanti Bhakta.
Education ministry-formed committee says the way Narayanganj school headmaster Shyamal Kanti Bhakta was suspended was beyond relevant rules. A school student made inconsistent statements on whether the teacher said anything demeaning religion and hence the allegation may not be considered acceptable, the report said.
