With almost half of the season gone, Bangladesh Railway has decided to launch a special train service to transport mango from June 8 from Chapainawabganj and Rajshahi to Dhaka.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today flagged off a new intercity train named "Chilahati Express" on the Dhaka-Chilahati-Dhaka route in a bid to strengthen connectivity between the northern region and the capital and expand business in the area.
