BNP Standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said that people of Barishal made a revolution through their presence in the meeting.

Ishraque Hossain, member of BNP's foreign affairs committee, claimed that nine people were injured when his motorcade came under attack by miscreants on the way to the party's divisional rally venue in Barishal city this morning (November 5, 2022).

Launch and speedboat operations on Barishal-Bhola route have been suspended ahead of BNP's divisional rally slated for Saturday (November 5, 2022).    

Three-wheeler workers in Barishal have called a strike on November 4 and 5 demanding authorities to allow their vehicles on the highway.

Complications have arisen over the BNP's seeking permission for its November-5 rally venue in Barishal city, as the party did not use the venue’s official name.
