The Friday Theatre School at Alliance Française de Dhaka is set to present its annual production “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”, featuring performances by its workshop students under the direction of Ashish Khondker.
Ashish Khondker has taken on the task of translating this classic French play into Bengali. His adaptation promises to retain the essence and humour of the original while making it accessible to a broader audience.
National Award-winning cinematographer, writer, and director, Saikat Nasir based his film, “Border”, around the lives of the people who reside in the border areas of the country. Recently, the film underwent some changes, being renamed to “Sultanpur” and re-edited to pass the censor board clearance.
