The Invisible Gym
We've all seen it happen. Someone buys a full set of weights, a treadmill, maybe even one of those multi-station monstrosities, and six months later the whole thing is either draped in laundry or glaring at guests from the corner of the living room. Some of you reading this have seen this happen to treadmills.
If you live in a Dhaka apartment (or anywhere space is precious), you know the golden rule: keep it simple, keep it out of sight, and keep your spouse from tripping over your ankle weights.
The good news? You don't need to spend a fortune or give up half your drawing room to build a functional, everyday home gym.
Step One: The Zen Zone
For low-intensity workouts like yoga, stretches, a bit of calisthenics, maybe even tai chi if you feel dramatic after watching a few Youtube videos, all you need is:
A mat: Thick enough to save your knees, thin enough to roll up and disappear under the sofa.
