Hundreds of shanties gutted in midnight fire at Rohingya camp
A massive fire swept through a Rohingya refugee camp in Ukhiya during the early hours of Tuesday, leaving hundreds of families homeless as they watched their final belongings and winter essentials turn to ash.
The fire broke out at approximately 3:00am in Block D-4 of Camp-16. While over 400 shelters sustained various degrees of damage, nearly 150 dwellings were completely destroyed by the blaze.
