Kurigram, Lalmonirhat flood-hit people face food, drinking water crisis

Flood situation remains unchanged at Teesta, Dharla and Dudhkumarpar river banks in Kurigram and Lalmonirhat.

More than two lakh people have been marooned due to the rising water levels as a result of rain and the onrush of water from upstream in India.

The flood victims have alleged that government assistance is inadequate.
