'Aynaghar' finally uncovered, but what now?
Throughout the day, three places were at the center of discussion about torture cells: Kachukhet, Uttara, and Agargaon. Professor Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser of the interim government, visited the torture centres with some advisers, victims and some journalists.
After much discussion and criticism, Yunus visited some Aynaghar or torture cells.
The CA's press wing said that there are 700-800 such torture cells in Bangladesh. The question is, what else are there in these secret torture centres? What do the victims say about their experiences? And what is the government going to do now?
