Prachyanat’s Lal Yatra on Genocide Day

On the black night of March 25, 1971, known as the genocide day, the Pakistani Army launched an operation against the innocent Bangalees in Dhaka and many other places.

In order to pay tribute to the victims of the incident, renowned theatre group Prachyanat have been displaying street plays followed by rallies for the last nine years which they call Lal Yatra. Their programs are arranged to demonstrate the bloodshed that happened in Dhaka on that very night.
