Zimbabwe to play 3 ODIs & 3 T20I matches in Nov
Zimbabwe cricket team will land at Dhaka in November for a short tour of ODI and T20I matches against Bangladesh.
The young and eager Zimbabwe side is expected to play three ODIs and three T20I matches, reported bdcricteam.com
Zimbabwe players and staff will reach Bangladesh in November 1.
The probable itinerary is given below:
The first ODI match will be held on November 4.
2nd game of the series will be played on November 6.
The third match will be held on November 8.
After the three-match ODI series is completed, the teams will enjoy a two-day break before the next phase of the tour.
Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will lock horns in the first T20I on November 11.
The second and third game will be played on November 13 and November 15 respectively.
However, sources said the T20I series could see a game dropped due to the Bangladesh Premier League commitments for the national players.
Previously, Zimbabwe were to tour Bangladesh in January next year, but due to the unfortunate pullout by Australia out of their two Test tour, BCB decided to invite the African side instead.
Zimbabwe agreed to play Bangladesh on two, separate tours.
While Zimbabwe were initially supposed to arrive in November to play two Tests, at the moment it seems as though the two teams will battle it out in three ODIs and three T20Is next month, reported The Daily Star.
