Bangladesh witnessed two major milestones in Dubai today as captain Litton Das and left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman etched their names into the record books during the Asia Cup Super Four clash against Sri Lanka.

Litton became Bangladesh's highest run-getter in T20I, surpassing Shakib Al Hasan. The skipper scored 23 off 16 balls, which took his career tally to 2,556 runs-- moving past Shakib's 2,551.

On the bowling front, Mustafizur equalled Shakib's record for most T20I wickets for Bangladesh. The left-arm pacer was at his economical best, conceding only 20 runs from four overs and picking up three wickets. His third scalp, Wanindu Hasaranga, brought his career tally to 149 wickets, the same as Shakib.

Mustafiz reached the landmark quicker than the allrounder—117 matches and 116 innings compared to Shakib's 129 matches and 126 innings.
