Imranur cements a spot in the semis in Asian Indoor Athletics

Bangladesh's fastest man, Imranur Rahman has marked his presence in the Asian Indoor Athletics with qualification to the semi-finals in Kazakhstan on Saturday.

The 29-year-old topped the 60m sprint heat in 6.70 seconds to confirm the semi-final berth in the competition. However, his personal best timing is 6.64 seconds which he clocked at the World Indoor Athletics staged in Belgrade in 2022.

Imranur's 6.70 seconds was the third-best timing in the competition overall and with a chance to compete in the semi-finals, the sprinter has a shot at bringing home a medal.
