Mohammedan Sporting Club held defending champions Abahani to a 2-2 draw in their Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League match at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium today.

The Black and Whites took the lead in the ninth minute, thanks to a penalty corner converted by Pakistani recruit Tasvar Abbas. However, Abahani soon equalised and then grabbed the lead, with Toushique Arshad and Shafqat Rasool scoring for the Sky Blues. 

But Mohammedan were not to be denied a point as Tasvar got his second from a penalty corner in the 48th minute.
