Manchester United have a reached a deal to appoint Jose Mourinho as their new manager, several media outlets reported.
Both Sky Sports and BBC reported that Mourinho had reached a deal with the club to become its new manager, although a contract was yet to be signed.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand all but confirmed the reports when he posted a picture of himself alongside Mourinho on Twitter, with the caption: "Jose.. Signed.. Sealed.. Delivered! #Mourinho announced @ManUtd manager!!"
