Ronaldinho hails Neymar, Coutinho
Barcelona and Brazil legend Ronaldinho believes that fellow compatriot Neymar will soon become the best player in the world.
Ronaldinho insists that Neymar, who missed out on the Ballon d'Or top three this year behind Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, has to be patient in his quest to become the world's best.
“I think he's already among the best in the world, one day he'll be the best in the world,” Ronaldinho told ESPN FC during his visit to former club Paris Saint-Germain.
“Us Brazilians are waiting for that because he's an idol for all Brazilian soccer. He's a great friend, it's a matter a time for him to be the best in the world.”
Neymar has enjoyed a successful career since joining Barcelona back in 2013, thriving in a deadly front three with team-mates Messi and Luis Suarez.
The Brazilian has won two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey's and picked up the Champions League crown once so far during his time with the Catalan giants.
But it isn't only Neymar that Ronaldinho has been very impressed with recently.
The 36-year-old has praised Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, who had attracted interest from Barcelona before signing a five-year contract with the Reds.
“I admire him a lot. He's got a lot of talent,” Ronaldinho said. “I've known him for many years, and he's proven that he can play anywhere in the world.
“He can play in France, he's proven it. He can play anywhere in the world.”
