Hamza welcomed with chants and cheers by thousands in ancestral village

Amid a wave of excitement, Hamza Choudhury set foot in his ancestral home in Habiganj on Monday, marking a heartfelt return after arriving in the country earlier in the day.
Word of his visit had drawn thousands of eager locals who lined the streets at the Snanghat village in Bahubal upazila, hoping for a glimpse of the footballer. Cheers erupted as he stepped onto the podium, the crowd's energy mirroring the pride of a community welcoming one of their own.

"I feel really good… Bangladesh Zindabad," Hamza greeted crowd with a smile as he soaked in the moment at the podium.

Hamza will spend the next two days in Habiganj before joining the Bangladesh national team camp for the Asian Cup Qualifiers against India in Shillong on March 25.
