Hamza donates Eid gifts to the underprivileged in Snanaghat

Hamza Chowdhury distributed Eid gifts to the underprivileged in his native village of Snanaghat in Habiganj today.
At around 3:30 pm, Hamza disbursed Tk 10 lakhs to more than 150 locals, aiming to provide support to those in need.
Hamza's father, Dewan Murshed Chowdhury, along with family members, was present during the distribution at their family home.
In addition to the financial donation, Hamza has played a key role, in funding an orphanage and a madrasa in the village. These institutions provide orphaned children free education, and was welcomed by Hamza on Tuesday afternoon.
Hamza, who arrived in Bangladesh from London on Monday afternoon, was warmly welcomed at the Sylhet Osmani International Airport by officials from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), government representatives, and relatives. Later, he made his way to his house in the village where he was greeted by the locals in a festive atmosphere.
"Every year, Hamza donates funds to assist the poor and helpless people in the village. He has always had a passion for supporting mosques, madrasas, and underprivileged individuals. Hamza is also running madrasas and orphanages with his personal finances, Murshed said.
Hamza will fly with the national team to Shillong on March 20 for their Asian Cup Qualifiers fixture against India on March 25.
