Argentina’s seventh or Morocco’s first?

Six-time champions Argentina will take on Morocco in the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2025 final at Chile's Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Pradanos in the early hours of Monday morning.
The final kicks off at 5:00 am on Monday (Bangladesh Time).
While the Young Albiceleste have won an unmatched half-a-dozen titles, they haven't reached the decider since Canada 2007, where Sergio Agüero inspired them to glory with a comeback win over Czechia in Toronto. This team have mixed mettle with magic, winning every game so far while conceding just twice — and none in the knockout stage.
Morocco, for their part, topped a group of death alongside Spain, Brazil, and Mexico before ending the dreams of Korea Republic, USA, and France. Mohamed Ouahbi's team have arguably been the soundest defensive outfit at the finals, while Othmane Maamma, Yassir Zabiri, and Gessime Yassine have dazzled at the sharp end of the pitch.
Players to Watch
Gianluca Prestianni
Prestianni had to bide his time at these finals but is firmly in the groove now, entering the decider following back-to-back Visa Player of the Match awards.
Yassir Zabiri
The Morocco forward holds the unique distinction of forcing own goals in three consecutive knockout matches. However, he has undoubtedly made his own luck throughout the tournament with his tireless work rate and all-action playing style.
Highlights
**Argentina are looking to become the first team since their 2001 side to win every match in normal time at the finals. A clean-sheet victory would also make them just the second side (after Uruguay in 2023) to lift the title having gone unbreached in the knockout stage since the tournament expanded to 24 teams in 1997.
**Morocco are aiming to become the first African team to win this trophy since Ghana sank Brazil on penalties in the Egypt 2009 decider.
**This is the sixth time an African nation has reached the final, with five of those coming against South American opposition. The only exception was in 1989, when a trailblazing Nigeria side fell 2-0 to Portugal in Riyadh.
**Mateo Silvetti could join fellow Argentinians Ramón Díaz, Diego Maradona, and Lionel Messi as the only players to score in all four knockout matches if he finds the net again here.
**No matter what, history will be made in the dugout on Sunday. Either Argentina boss Diego Placente becomes the first person to win this title both as a player (Malaysia 1997) and as a coach, or Belgian Mohamed Ouahbi becomes the first foreigner to win the title if Morocco triumph.
