England cricketer Moeen Ali was detained at Birmingham airport on Saturday for about 40 minutes owing to ‘airport rules and regulations’, reports a news portal SK Cricket.
Irked by the treatment meted out to him, Moeen took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to share his sentiments.

The all-rounder stated that he was never stopped at the airport while traveling with the England squad.
