Uncertainty over as BCB extends NOCs for Rangpur's GSL final
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has allowed the three players of the national team to participate for Rangpur Riders in the final of Global Super League against Cricket Victoria on Saturday.
Soumya Sarkar, Afif Hossain and Rishad Hossain -- the three players who are part of Bangladesh ODI team for their series against West Indies, have been allowed to play the final in Guyana before flying for St Kitts for the three-match series starting on December 7.
There was uncertainty whether these players, who had NOCs till December 5, would be allowed an extended stay, putting Rangpur's fate in the balance.
However, the franchise confirmed the news that they have been allowed to keep the three players for this final, through a social media post, just over an hour before the final.
"Alhamdulillah! Special gratitude to Bangladesh cricket: The Tigers BCB for allowing all Bangladeshi players to participate in the final of Global Super League GSL T20," the statement read.
"Keep supporting us, we always need your blessings!" added the statement.
