Tigers’ 2026 home series schedule announced: India series rescheduled to Sept

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the home international schedule for the 2026 season on Friday, including the itinerary of the two-part home series against Pakistan and also the newly rescheduled home series against India, which was postponed last year.

The BCB had back then said that the series was postponed to September 2026. According to a new itinerary, the India series will take place in September, with India slated to arrive on August 28 to play three ODIs and as many T20Is.

The three ODIs will be played on September 1, 3, and 6, respectively, while the three T20Is are scheduled for September 9, 12, and 13.

"The confirmed itinerary ensures a season full of international cricket in Bangladesh, providing supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket at home," the BCB said in a press release.

The Pakistan series had been postponed due to a scheduling clash with the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The series was slated to be played in March-April.

However, according to the new schedule, Pakistan will arrive for the ODI phase on March 9 to play three ODIs on March 12, 14, and 16, respectively. The Tigers will then play three ODIs and three T20Is with New Zealand at home in April-May.

Following the series against New Zealand, Pakistan are set to arrive on May 4 for the second phase of their tour, including two Tests, slated for May 8 and 16. The two Tests are part of the ICC Test Championship.

The Tigers will play Australia in ODI and T20 format as well in June, before the India series.
