The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a reshuffle of committee roles on Tuesday, naming Rubaba Dowla as the new chairperson of its women's wing.

Rubaba, who joined the board of directors on November 3 as one of two National Sports Council (NSC)-nominated directors, had not previously been assigned to any standing committee. However, she was included in the five-member inquiry committee formed to investigate recent allegations of misconduct involving members of the national women's team.

She replaces Abdur Razzak, who will remain involved with the department as vice-chairman. In addition to that role, Razzak has been appointed chairman of the High Performance unit, succeeding Khaled Mashud Pilot.

Pilot, meanwhile, has been reassigned as chairman of the grounds committee, taking over from BCB president Aminul Islam Bulbul, who had been overseeing the committee since the October 6 board election.
