ICC Rankings 2025: India dominate white-ball cricket, Australia lead Tests
The ICC Men's Team Rankings at the end of 2025 highlight two clear forces in international cricket: Australia's dominance in Test cricket and India's supremacy in the white-ball formats.
AUSTRALIA REIGN SUPREME IN TESTS
Australia will finish 2025 as the No.1 ranked Test side, underlining a year of consistent excellence in red-ball cricket. With 124 rating points, Australia sit comfortably at the top of the ICC Test Rankings, ahead of reigning World Test Champions South Africa.
England occupy the third position after a busy year in Test cricket, while India are placed fourth. New Zealand complete the top five, with Sri Lanka, Pakistan, the West Indies and Bangladesh following behind.

INDIA DOMINATE THE WHITE-BALL FORMATS
India have enjoyed a stellar year in limited-overs cricket, finishing 2025 as the top-ranked side in both ODIs and T20Is.
In ODIs, India lead the table with 121 rating points, staying ahead of New Zealand and Australia. Pakistan and Sri Lanka round off the top five, while Afghanistan continue to impress in seventh place. Bangladesh are languishing at 10th.

India's dominance continues in the shortest format as well, with the Men in Blue finishing No.1 in T20I rankings with 272 rating points. Australia remain close contenders in second place, followed by England.
New Zealand and South Africa complete a competitive top five, while the West Indies and Pakistan remain strong forces in the middle of the table and the Tigers positioned at No.9.
