Ian Chappell, Shoaib Akhtar stand by Taskin
Former Australian cricketer Ian Chappell and Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar stand by Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed upon his suspension by International Cricket Council over bowling action.
Ahead of Bangladesh’s clash today against the mighty Aussies in a must win game for both the teams, former Australian great and ESPNcricinfo analyst Ian Chappell said the suspension of Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny in the middle of the World Twenty20 is a harsh decision from the ICC.
Chappell: No logic behind suspending bowlers mid-touramment.

In a tweet, Shoaib Akhtar said he really feels for Taskin and hopes he gets clearance from ICC soon because he is an asset for world cricket.

A youngster, Taskin Ahmed has been one of the pillars who has brought about the pace revolution in the spin-den of Bangladesh’s national cricket team.
On March 19, ICC banned Taskin and a spinner Arafat Sunny for their bowling action at a time when the team is competing at the Twenty20 World Cup being held in India.
The ban drew flak from Bangladesh cricket supporters who have expressed their bitter opinions in social media.
