'70-30 to India', Akhtar weighs in on CT final

India and New Zealand will face off in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in what is setting up to be a cracking contest.
India have come into the final undefeated while New Zealand's lone defeat in the competition came against Rohit Sharma's men – a 44-run loss – in the final Group A match in Dubai on March 2.
Most experts feel that India seem to have their noses ahead heading into the final and former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar is one of them.
"If you ask me about odds, I would say 70-30 to India," Shoaib said on 'Game On Hai'.
However, the former Pakistan pacer did not completely rule out New Zealand's chances and listed out a few ways how they could make it happen.
"You have to forget that you are up against India and that you are the lesser team. You should forget that you are not good. [New Zealand captain Mitchell] Santner has that belief. I have seen it in him. As a captain, he wants to win the title.
"You have to do the right thing at the right time. You have to break the onslaught. Rohit Sharma will be on the attack. He will try to neutralise your spinners. He will attack Santner. At that point, he has to handle his team as a leader.
"When it comes to batting, their spinners, and their maturity [India are ahead], but if New Zealand can bring their A-game on that day [they can win]."
