Tamim slams critiques with ton
Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal slammed a ton on the face of critiques who had taken him apart for his poor performance in the World Cup 2015.
Even the celebration Tamim had after reaching his century said it all as he was gimmicking with his hands indicating "what a big mouth they had" ahead of the series.
This was his first century against Pakistan and his fifth in career. And after the milestone, he switched gears and returned back to his flashy self unlike the start he had.
Tamim took 114 deliveries to reach to his fifty during the first ODI match in the homes series against Pakistan. However, he was dropped on 48 in a simple caught and bowled attempt off Saad Nasim. He ended with 132 from 135 balls.
The left-hander had a rather dismal World Cup this year scoring 154 runs from the six matches he played with a highest of 95 against Scotland.
Since then, there has been widespread criticism in the social media regarding Tamim's abilities and questioning his inclusion in the team.
