Rafiath Rashid Mithila is a name associated to many talents. She is a versatile artist who has managed to balance both her career and family with her resilient personality and unbound determination. 2019 has proven to be the year of love for this graceful artist, as she tied the knot with critically acclaimed director from India, Srijit Mukherji. We congratulate the newlywed on their marriage.

Mithila and Srijit first connected through Facebook, and as they had common friends, their friendship grew with time. Later, when Mithila was working for Arnob’s music video in Kolkata, which was made by Srijit’s production company, Match-Cut Productions, the bond between the duo became stronger, and eventually, romance sparked between them. Mithila tied the knot with Srijit in Kolkata, amidst close family members and friends on December 6, 2019. After the wedding, the couple left for Geneva, Switzerland, where Mithila registered for her PhD in the University of Geneva. Shortly after, the newlywed couple enjoyed a short honeymoon in Greece. On the work front, Mithila is currently working for BRAC International, which implements the international operations of BRAC and currently works in eleven countries outside Bangladesh. She is the Head of Early Childhood Development (EDC) programme. Besides, she also works for the showbiz industry from time to time. We wish Mithila and Srijit all the happiness for years to come, as they step foot into this new chapter of life.
